While La Cité du Vin proposes an immersion in the vineyards of the world, its Wine Tours desk facilitates the discovery of the vineyards in the surrounding area, by river or by road.
Organise your outings, set out to discover Bordeaux Wine Routes, cross the threshold of châteaux, or go on a wine river cruise along the Garonne! Discover an extensive offering and let yourself be guided by the advice of the teams on site from the Bordeaux Métropole Tourist Office.
Bordeaux Wine Trip: explore Bordeaux and its vineyards!
Bordeaux Wine Trip is the digital portal of the Wine Tours desk. An essential tool for all, it allows real time remote access to all the information needed to organise your stay and book your visits online. Transform your time in Bordeaux into an unforgettable experience!
On the banks of the Garonne at the foot of La Cité du Vin, a 90-metre pontoon will allow pleasure boats to come right up close and will also enable the creation of river shuttles offering access to vineyards via the river.
Bordeaux Wine Routes
Set out to explore six Wine Route circuits from La Cité du Vin itself. To the northwest, cross the Médoc with its Châteaux or plunge into the heart of the Sauternes and Graves regions: the birthplace of Bordeaux vineyards. To the north-west, travel back in time in Saint-Emilion and its Medieval village, before returning towards the estuary where Blaye and Bourg await you via the Corniche Route.
Lastly, don’t miss out on the large Bordeaux-Entre-deux-Mers region, “the Tuscany of Bordeaux”, before moving onto the sixth circuit, which is the corner stone of the wine tourism offering: the city of Bordeaux, gateway to the vineyards.
Access to the Wine Tours desk is free of charge.
