Vineyards from the skies
Take a seat for a flight over the vineyards of the world
Vines are grown all over the world in a wide range of natural conditions. Winegrowers adapt their know-how to the specifics of each region and modify the landscapes to get the best out of them, like true craftspeople of the earth. These wine regions have many different and sometimes surprising faces, are often spectacular, and may even become iconic…
Flying over them is the best way to appreciate the great diversity of winemaking landscapes!
At the heart of this immersive section of the Permanent Exhibition, let yourself be carried away by a film shown on three giant screens offering three different points of view. This unique exhibit invites you to fly over some 20 wine regions in 17 countries.
It would be easy to believe that all vineyards are the same, composed of long, neatly aligned rows of vines on rolling hills. Nothing could be so far from the truth.
You will be amazed by the incredible diversity of winemaking landscapes across the world, from Elqui Valley in Chile to the verdant hillsides of Champagne, from the banks of the Douro to the lunar landscapes of Lanzarote, from Tahiti to the slopes of Mount Fuji. Winegrowers plant vines in the most varied regions, from the most welcoming to the most hostile.
This journey through the skies is much more than a film. It is an invitation to explore and appreciate the breathtaking beauty of vineyards in all four corners of the planet. Each wine region tells a unique story and reveals a culture and passion passed down through the generations. Discover the soul of the terroirs and the devotion of the men and women who shape these exceptional landscapes…
Book your visit to the Permanent Exhibition and let yourself be swept away by the winds of adventure over the wine regions of the world: a discovery that promises to amaze and inspire you, whether you are a wine lover or simply curious.
