Charity dinners for the Foundation for wine culture and civilizations

Patronage is central to the economic model of the Foundation for wine culture and civilizations. The Foundation is organising two charity dinners in 2022: one in Bordeaux on 27 January at the Cité du Vin and the other in Paris on 14 March at Restaurant Guy Savoy. These fundraising events will allow the Foundation for wine culture and civilizations to pursue its mission of safeguarding and transmitting the culture of wine as widely as possible.

After the first charity dinner in Paris, organised in 2020 by Domaine Clarence Dillon and held below the Louvre pyramid (with a menu by Christophe Pelé of Le Clarence** restaurant), in aid of the exhibition “Drinking with the Gods”, the Foundation for wine culture and civilizations is organising another event in Paris on 14 March 2022. Three-star chef Guy Savoy has generously agreed to host this new charity event in his restaurant and write the menu, which will be accompanied by great wines offered to the 90 guests expected to attend.

The Cité du Vin

Since its opening on 1 June 2016, the Cité du Vin, managed by the Foundation for wine culture and civilizations, has become a major cultural venue in the city of Bordeaux.

It hosts a rich and artistically diverse daily cultural programme with numerous events targeting all audiences.

This cultural offer is made possible thanks to the regular commitment of French and foreign patrons.

By supporting the work of our Foundation, you are protecting the cultural, universal and living heritage of wine that transcends borders, centuries and beliefs.

Wine stimulates research and innovation, permeates exchanges around the world and has inspired artists since the dawn of time.

We would like to thank you, patrons and future patrons of the Cité du Vin, for your commitment to a universal cause, a culture and a thousand-year-old art of living.
