Attend a tasting workshop
When it rains in Bordeaux, take advantage of the opportunity to awaken your senses! Attend a tasting workshop at La Cité du Vin and learn more about your five senses as you gain an introduction to oenology.
- Upside down:
The ‘upside down’ wine culture workshop invites you to a topsy-turvy wine tasting: taste before smelling, smell before seeing, test your senses, experiment and learn!
During this hour-long workshop you will taste three wines, calling on each of the senses used in wine tasting in turn: sight, smell and taste. You will leave feeling more confident in your tasting abilities!
- A glass of wine in the markets of the world:
Seated comfortably in an immersive space (360° images, lights, sounds and smells), embark on a journey to the heart of the world’s markets and experiment with pairings between virtual food and real wines. From Asia to America, you will travel four continents with a blind tasting of four wines, immersed in the ambient sounds and smells of the world’s markets.
